This is not my first time to the bar but I do feel it’s lost its shine a little. The first time we visited it had the ethos that it was naked space for everyone visiting and that included the staff. This time the staff remained dressed and the once friendly bar staff, who really enhanced the visit, have been replaced by a couple of black guys who weren’t overly friendly. It also once felt that everyone was welcome but now it feels like a competition of who has the biggest, so that friendly fun side has sadly lessened. We were also given tickets for free entry from Club Church, we were not advised there were restrictions on use, but one of the black bar men questioned why we used it on a Saturday night when leaving which made us quite embarrassed. I am hoping it was an exception rather than the norm for the venue now.
Had a wonderful first my husband and I over there. The place is not super big but it’s roomy enought for 20-30 people, the decor is very pretty, the ambiance is nice, the drinks and service are great and there is a fun cuddling section in a corner that is super nice and cozy. I loved it!! Definitely will come back after our next visit 😁
I’ve been looking forward to trying here since it opened in December and went twice last week when visiting Amsterdam and really enjoyed it. It’s modern, cosy and cruisey inside. The staff are really friendly and seeing the Ukrainian bartender with nothing but a smile definitely makes you want to return 😉 If you go here and enjoy, please spread the word so that it gets busier and sustainable 😊
The first time I couldn't enter as they closed early. A few days later I was back and I'm glad I did, the place is really nice and the staff is very helpful and welcoming. It's a new place so I feel they're still getting explored by different people and there's no specific type of "regulars" yet, can't wait to visit again in the future.
