Red Velvet Burlesque Austin & Austin Cabaret Show

Like most reviews already warned, they change the venue last minute to some sketchy spot. We let them know we didn’t feel comfortable or safe going to the new location at “dirty sixth” and they referred to their no refund policy. Days later, 03/01/2026 there was a MASS SHOOTING that killed people right there— so we are THANKFUL we didn’t go. Who needs to risk their literal safety for something that is supposed to be fun?

We’re always trying to find something different to do for date night, and Red Velvet Burlesque seriously blew us away. It wasn’t just another dinner-and-movie night — it actually felt like an experience. From the second the show started, the vibe was fun, flirty, and high-energy. The music hit, the lights came on, and we both just looked at each other like, “Okayyyy this is going to be good.” And it really was. The dancers were insanely confident and talented. The choreography was sharp, the costumes were wild in the best way (feathers, glitter, corsets — all of it), and every act felt different. It wasn’t awkward or over-the-top — it was classy but still spicy. We were laughing, cheering, and low-key hyping each other up the whole time. The atmosphere made it even better. It felt intimate but exciting at the same time. You could feel the energy in the room. It’s the kind of date where you’re both fully present instead of staring at your phones. What we loved most was that it gave us something to talk about after. It sparked that fun, flirty energy between us and honestly made the night feel special instead of routine. If you’re a young couple wanting to switch things up, celebrate something, or just have a night that feels bold and different — Red Velvet Burlesque is 100% worth it. Fun. Confident. A little daring. Definitely one of our favorite date nights so far.

PURE SCAM - DO NOT BUY TICKETS!!! Total scam. Red Velvet Burlesque follows a documented pattern: they take your money, then cancel the night before claiming 'unexpected venue issues.' I checked other reviews and this is their standard move. They try to force you to accept a 'credit' or a 'VIP upgrade' to another show instead of a refund. When I pushed for my money back, the representative Michele became evasive about who actually handles the finances. This company is a ghost. Save your money and your time—the show likely doesn't even exist at the venues they list. CALL THE VENUE FIRST BEFORE BUYING TICKETS IF YOU WANT TO STILL GAMBLE YOUR CHANCES. Like others, I was burned and currently disputing with my credit card company.

So much fun, great show. Book it online go won’t be disappointed.
