Blue District Rooftop Bar

The night I thought started well with a discounted 3 beers get one free which I thought was around 600 baht for the three bottles of Asahi. They turned out to be over 1050 Baht for three small bottles of beer! A discounted bottle of wine was offered. Which was good.700 baht. The plan was to have drinks here then go for food at a local restaurant. I have been living in the area for two years now. The food arrived Katsu curry, salmon carbonara, never seen this on a menu before and some sushi rolls. The portions were very small for the price. Tucking into the katsu curry chicken, it became apparent that the chicken was not fresh and there was a terrible taste on my first bite. I tried the rest and just worried if this was not a good idea. The salmon was not at all like the picture a nice juicy piece but instead a small rather overcooked piece fish. It was inedible as it was so dry. I did mention this to the staff member who was amazing and he passed on the details to the manager. The bill came and it was a shock 36000 baht for a terrible experience. Both inedible food items were on the bill. I rather thought I had been scammed but these were the prices. A sky bar that is trying to be a premium sky bar like the neighbouring Nobu and Virtigo. But it is no where near the same quality as I have visited those places. All in all this has high prices a limited menu and a sky bar that is in need of an update. The staff are the stars of this place. Avoid unless you wish to pay the high prices. There are better value for money sky bars than this.

Blue District Bar & Japanese Restaurant What I loved This is not just a bar. It’s a whole mood. And if you combine it with staying at JC Kevin Sathorn Bangkok Hotel, it becomes the perfect evening in Sathorn. Just a short walk and you’re already inside an atmosphere that feels premium, stylish, and welcoming. The whiskey selection is strong. Wide variety, high quality, real character. And the way they serve a rocks with ice — it’s like a museum piece. Crystal-clear ice, perfect shape, beautiful presentation. You can actually feel the respect for the drink. Prices are very reasonable for this level — slightly above average, but absolutely justified by the quality and overall experience. Service is top-tier. The team works smoothly, professionally, with attention to detail. You feel taken care of without it being intrusive. Atmosphere — top. Design — top. Energy — top. Everything feels inviting, intentional, and well thought out. This is the kind of place you don’t just visit — you experience it. Full respect to the whole team. I truly love this place. Simply top. 🔥

At the hotel’s Blue District restaurant, there was a Halloween party. The organizers did a great job overall — except for the DJ. We asked the DJ to change the music style (we even brought an example), especially since we were the only guests there. But instead, we had to listen to a mix of rap and R&B — and not the best kind. Big respect to the bartender and the waiters, they were excellent. But next time, please hire a different DJ. Kenny and team is abolutely perfect and very kind with me. I special regard to all of staff

Stayed at the hotel for the weekend and spent a couple of hours at this new bar. Beautiful rooftop views, great Japanese food, seems to be an LGBTQ+ or gay bar, but nevertheless the live shows and live dj and live band was an amazing experience! Didn’t know Bangkok had such place, great bar, in fact having visited many bars in Thailand this is definitely among one of the ‘BEST’ bars in Bangkok. Would highly recommend for those looking for a bar with all sorts of ‘Thai’ entertainment and new experiences. Thumbs up!
