A lot of lgbtq+ related goods, they also have books in English! the staff was very polite and helpful. very welcoming and friendly atmosphere

I was looking for nude photobook (but I already had it all)I did not get anything from this store, but my first step right here I fell the very warm welcome from staff unless I had a little bit know Spanish I was looking around the store, they have a lot of interested books, comics, novels.

I was hoping to find Ralph Koenig's works in German, as I used to at Cómplices, a much better bookstore that had closed recently. Not only they didn't have them but Ralph Koenig is very poorly represented with only a few titles, and only in Spanish. Cómplices used to have *all* Ralph Koenig's works. Also, they used to have books in different languages -not only Spanish- which was more suitable for an important GLBTQ+ destination as is Barcelona. Besides that, the space was obstructed with boxes and difficult for browsing, and the shop assistant unkind and uninterested in helping in any way, giving the sensation of being unwanted there. It is a pity Cómplices had to close, but somehow there was hope Antinous could take the opportunity and evolve into their place. Unfortunately, they are far behind that level, by contents and by poor attention to customers. I won't return anytime soon, but I do sincerely hope they will learn with time how to improve, because Barcelona does need a good LGBTQ+ bookshop.

Never before in my life have I left a book shop...and lay down on the street to cry. Today was that day! The space itself is...bad...difficult to navigate, not enough room to search comfortably, quite strange staff, and the only positive I can think of is a rather comfy chair located at the back of the shop. However, not updating their website with currently available books is not just bad business, it is unforgivable. I walked over an hour with heavy luggage through the merciless streets of Barcelona to purchase a Spanish translation of the Irish classic At Swim, Two Boys. I am a personal collector of this book and, truthfully, screamed in front of a Taco Bell when the website told me it was available. After my strenuous journey to the shop, to be casually told 'sold out' with a careless shrug from the shop keeper...bits of my heart crashed to the floor. While this may not be a big deal to the shop, it has tainted my experience of Barcelona forever. At Swim, Two Boys is not here. Be warned.
