If you want to experience the true, vibrant, and artistic spirit of Barcelona, Ocaña is the place to be.What I loved the most about this venue is its incredible bohemian atmosphere, the sheer colorfulness, and the absolute sense of freedom you feel the moment you step inside. Named after José Pérez Ocaña, the famous local artist and queer activist, the place proudly keeps his free-spirited LGBT+ legacy alive. It’s a beautifully inclusive space where everyone can just be themselves.A special shoutout goes to the hosts and hostesses—they are absolutely magnificent! From the welcome to managing the busy crowd with.The kitchen is honestly nothing special or mind-blowing. However, you don't come to Ocaña just for the food; you come for the unmatched energy, the queer-friendly history, the drinks, and the vibe. I will definitely be back for the atmosphere alone! Highly recommended.

Overall not the best. The seafood quality is questionable where the shrimps are all not fresh (black juice in the head, watery) and the gutter weren't cleaned. The fried fish is also served with the head that was told not eatible. Other food was good and the jazz atmosphere was great. However the seafood that was supposed to be the highlight was a disappointment. Do want to add they removed the wine from our bill after we talked to the manager.

Had an amazing experience here! The sangria was fresh, fruity, and perfectly balanced . The paella was full of flavor, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. A great spot for Spanish food and drinks — I would absolutely come back again!

Great for the Barcelona City buzz. Food was fairly good and once we had ordered it came quite quickly but service was a little slow as it’s so busy. The square looks beautiful at night with twinkling lights. Sadly we were too tired to make it into the club but I expect it would have been good fun. Loved our welcome!

I couldn’t wait to visit this place, but unfortunately it ended up being quite disappointing. The atmosphere is definitely there it’s a really charming spot and that has to be acknowledged. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. When ordering our food, we also ordered drinks, which took almost 30 minutes to arrive. During that time, we asked one member of the staff about them, but there was no reaction. Only another waitress eventually brought our drinks. We ordered a burger and a steak with pepper sauce. The food was simply okay. My steak arrived cold, and considering the price of €26, the portion was very small only 4–5 pieces of meat. Overall, I’m disappointed and I truly expected much more, especially given the reputation of the place. Although the venue itself is visually very nice.
