Disappointing and discriminatory experience at Titanic. We arrived around 12:30 am and were stopped by the manager before we could sit at an empty table. We were told, “No, we have enough men here,” and then instructed to “go to Honey instead,” a bar known for the bear community. This was a clear assumption about our sexuality based purely on appearance. Despite this, there were other men already seated and drinking inside. There are respectful ways to manage a venue’s atmosphere — this wasn’t it. Turning people away based on gender and physical profiling is discriminatory and unacceptable. Afterwards, I checked other reviews and found multiple reports describing the same behaviour, going back over a year. It’s disappointing that this issue has clearly been raised before and nothing has changed. Very unwelcoming. Would not recommend.

Disappointing experience. The bartender suggested we leave and go to Honey Bar because “titanic is a lesbian bar,” even though there were other men sitting at the bar. If this is going to be the standard, then maybe gay bars should also start refusing entry to women — because apparently exclusion is acceptable now. Very unwelcoming. Would not recommend.

​I am writing this to warn others about the discriminatory "hospitality" practiced at Titanic. My friends and I visited last night around 12:30 AM, hoping to enjoy a new spot. Instead, we were met with immediate hostility from the manager. ​Before we could even sit at an empty table, the manager intercepted us and stated, "No, we have enough men here." When we tried to understand the situation, she dismissively told us to "go to Honey instead", a bar specifically for the "bear" community, clearly making assumptions about our orientation based on our physical appearance. ​There is a way to curate a specific atmosphere with grace and politeness, but this was not it. To be turned away and "re-routed" to another bar based on gender and physical profiling is a violation of basic consumer rights and a disgusting display of exclusion. ​Inclusivity is not a one-way street. If you value being treated with basic human dignity regardless of your gender or appearance, stay away from this establishment. The management here clearly prefers prejudice over professional service. After this encounter, I checked previous reviews and was disheartened to see several other patrons reporting almost identical experiences with the same manager. It is incredibly saddening that this issue has clearly been raised before, yet the behavior remains unchanged a year later.

Went in on Sunday evening and enjoyed ourselves. The bartender was more than accommodating and friendly. It was a nice neighborhood hang with good vibes.

This place is really fun - nice vibe and the Titanic decor is hilarious and enjoyable to sit amongst. The barman is really friendly - the guy who tries to get you inside is quite aggressive and his vibe wasn't really great but these things happen. If you're a Titanic fan you should head along and live out your Jack/Rose dreams on the mini stage.
