Ashoor Bar

New favourite spot in Berlin! A cozy berliner vibe, delicious cocktails and an amazing kind new owner (Ashoor)! Highly recommend! 😍

The ambient is really cool there I enjoyed my evening with my friends. The personal are really friendly and nice, will definitely visit again.

Capture seems to have gone. I just walked past at 7pm and saw some guys changing the sign for the bar to something illegible (looked like “Astooor” or something, with a cocktail symbol) I hope I’m wrong, I hope even more that it’s still a gay bar, I hope the MOST it’s not another bar that has been ruined by the same people in the area, turning good establishments into tacky generic cocktail bars (Troy, Honigdachs, Zeitgeist etc.)

I liked Capture Bar. I think it is an excellent venue to come to if you are looking for a chilled environment where you can sit down, have a casual and relaxed drink and talk to your friends. The music at the bar isn’t too loud and you’re not having to scream when you want to say something and you’re not going to have to ask someone to repeat themselves cause you can’t hear them over the music. It’s a pretty grungy vibe, so if that’s not your thing, maybe look elsewhere. 🏳️‍🌈 The venue is super LGBT+ friendly. I had a watermelon flavoured cocktail which was tasty, but really sweet - huge sugar hit! The only issue I had with this venue was the smoking situation, because it has big open windows at the front/an open facade, people seem to smoke on the inside. I know that this isn’t uncommon in Europe, but as a non-smoker, this was a little bit of a problem for me.
