Hotel Ambiente Berlin City

Its no 5 star hotel but it's ok. The room was clean and maintained, the beds were reasonable and the shower was good. My only complaint would be the noise - the walls are paper thin and it's next to the Penny loading area so it can be loud. Location is good, short walk to KaDeWe and Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn

The hotel is alright for the price and the location, as it's near Kurfürstendamm, however the rooms are a bit outdated. You only get a single key, and I don't think you can request another one, so if you forget that key in the safe (which you use to lock it) then you're locked out. The soundproofing in the rooms could be better, as I could hear the people in the other room opening and closing the doors a lot. I know this next part is not the hotel's fault, but the lack of soundproofing and the very loud birds outside are a big downside. I could hear the birds all night, as they were screaming. I think if they implemented better soundproofing, it would be fine.

Excellent value for money. The hotel was clean and perfectly located close to public transport, shopping, and great dining options.

Nice hotel, we enjoyed it here. Location is amazing, quiet. Only shower design was a little weird, not very comfortable for grown man. But that's all, everything else was great. Good hotel.

The hotel itself is pretty good. It's located directly next to a Penny which allowed me to quickly walk and get basic food items at any point. Nollendorfplatz is within easy walking distance and allows access to the rest of Berlin through public transport while itself being fairly out of the way. The balcony was nice and provided a nice view. For a simple bed, toilet, and shower, it's a great location. 24/7 service and check-in is also a HUGE plus, I arrived fairly early in the morning after two days of sleepless travel and didn't have to wait for check-in time, and was able to easily extend my stay by a day late in the evening when I realized I'd made a mistake.
