This is the most unfriendly place in Berlin. Barmen is the rudest person I’ve ever seen. Such a shame. We were there 2 minutes and left. After they treat people like shit, I’m not surprised to see all these bad (good) reviews.

Great bar. Yes the bouncers may quiz you on entry - that's to keep the wrong people out and ensure you have a good time once you're inside.

This bar used to feel like a gay-centered space, but the atmosphere has shifted. I’ve been multiple times in the last year, and each time I felt more like an outsider and noticeably in the minority as a gay person. I often felt looked at rather than at ease, and the vibe no longer felt like a community space for queer people. It’s disappointing to see a place that once felt like a gem change this way.

I live in Berlin and went with friends there. The bouncer pointed at me and said I was never in that bar ( which I was) and that I was straight ( which is rude and false , my boyfriend was standing next to me). He only let us in after I came out to him, which is insaneeeely disrespectful and not worthy of a queer bar. If you look for a queer and a safe space , look somewhere else . The plushy decor is not worth being discriminated for. Really ruined my evening and reading the comments , this is not a singular event, but quite common. There are many nicer queer friendly places around like Südblock or Silver Future :) Take care and have fun

Literally the bar called the police without a reason. So the thing is that I went yesterday for a beer in Roses like I always do cause I'm a frequent customer, but what happened yesterday was unacceptable and very disrespectful. I entered the bar and I ordered a beer. I didn't remember that they only accepted cash, but I didn't have any with me, so I just said that I only had card and that I wouldn't get the beer (my intention was to ask anyone if they had cash so I could make a bank transference) The thing is that both the bouncer were yelling at me that I had to pay the beer, literally obligating me without any other option, but I just explained that I didn't have cash with me (it's not as if I was trying to get the beer for free, cause I didn't take it or drink it) So the bounce grabbed me aggressively and tried to kick me out of the bar unrespectfully and touching me without my consent. One customer in the bar defended me and the waiter and the bouncer literally called the police. They kicked me out of the bar and the policeman started pushing me aggressively to, without any possibility to explain myself and to talk. They didn't even give me time to have my coat, so I had to go home with 0 degrees and on my shirt. It was humiliating and disrespectful, the worst experience that ever happened to me in a bar. Literally I would never recommend this bar to anyone because they treat you as if you were a pig and you were worth nothing. It's a pity because I thought it was a nice bar, but there are a lot of much better options for queer bar in Berlin, don't waste your time coming here. If people do, this kind of abuses will be happening over and over.
