This became my regular spot while I was in Paris. The staff is so welcoming and speak English. The patrons were great too. Lovely community. The owner Maia is the best!

very cool spot, and once i saw the dog (there temporarily due to not really getting along with the rescuer’s other dogs!), i had a conversational in, even with my very poor french. excited to come to an event with my girlfriend… in like 2-3 years 😭

We were refused entry at a bar that claims to be “LGBT-friendly.” The irony is hard to miss. My husband and I (yes, two men) decided to go there after a romantic dinner. We were dressed more formally and, in that context, appeared more cisnormative — no stereotypes, just ourselves as we are in many everyday settings. Upon arrival, the person at the door asked if we “knew what kind of bar it was.” We said we did. Still, we were denied entry and told to go to another bar, with the excuse that there was a private party. Interestingly, from our hotel room right across the street, we watched people entering freely all night — no questions asked, no mention of any private event. So let’s be clear: we were not turned away because of capacity or because we didn’t understand the concept. We were turned away because we did not fit the expected visual stereotype — because we looked more cisnormative and formal. Being “LGBT-friendly” is not a label you stick on a door. It’s a practice. And excluding people from your own community for not fitting a certain image — including those who present in a more cisnormative way — is, at best, hypocritical. Diversity isn’t measured by how “visible” or performative someone is — it’s measured by how everyone is treated. And here, that clearly failed. This wasn’t just unpleasant. It was discriminatory. And it needs to be said.

A must-visit queer feminist bar in Paris! 🌈 The space is incredibly welcoming, even if you're just looking for a relaxed spot to hang out. Whether you're reading a book or playing one of their many board games, it's a great place to chill. The interior, especially their stone cellar, is so cozy, I would go there even if it wasn't an LGBTQ+ bar. On the day I went, it was a quieter vibe, but they also host amazing events—exhibitions, DJ sets, workshops, and more! The cocktails are top-notch, and the people, including the super caring bartender, make you feel safe and right at home. I’d definitely come here again. Don’t miss it!
