Musée de la Civilisation de Québec

This exhibit has probably moved on now, but it was definitely a highlight of my visit a few months ago. The immersive audio narrative of a Rohingya refugee was the closest I've come to balling at a museum. I'm hopeful that they will continue to put one exhibits like these going forward.

Don’t forget to buy your ticket online to save $3 per person and get to the show faster. Our tour leader's name was Julian. He was so knowledgeable and patient. Don’t miss this museum. There’s a café on the second floor if you can find coffee, small sandwiches, salad, and desserts with a good view, but kind of overpriced! (Typical tourist area)

The exhibits were well explained and helped support engagement with society. They gave an important insights into the settlement of Quebec. The Aboriginal displays were compelling and honest.

I was so touched by the Titanic exhibit that I even cried a little. The care and effort put into the curating and presenting of all the treasures from the wreckage is unparalleled, the experience is so immersive and so educational you feel part of the experience from beginning to end I've really never seen such a well presented exhibit. The American Indian part and the cultural aspect of the museum section was also visually striking and very well put together, if you go to any Museum in Quebec City this has to be your number one choice do not go to the museum of art that was a mistake on our part there is nothing there, the good section is closed for renovation so we basically wasted our time.

Highly recommend. All the exhibits were so thoughtfully and well curated. The audio guided exhibit on an Rohingya immigrants story was particularly heartbreaking. They have a great interactive area for kids as well. Could easily spend a day here.
