Absolutely beautiful! Very easy to spend 3+ hours walking around this square and the surrounding streets. Lots of incredible shops and delicious food/deserts. Bit more of a tourist area (with souvenir shops and street musicians) but still very enjoyable. Le Lapin Saute is definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner nearby. Saw it all in late May but would love to come back during Christmas!
When there during Christmas times which for Mrs is the most beautiful time of the year to visit this city. You can add to your poutine’s portfolio not only a beautiful square but a very nice built Christmas tree and light glow. Good experience there
Place Royale was a winter wonderland 2 weeks ago. The Christmas spirit was on high. Great restaurants, unique shops and Santa's and Elves were in abundance.
A beautiful courtyard in Old Quebec and a must visit at Christmas time. With the tree in the center all the stores lit up, it was stunning! There’s several shops, the church and a few places to eat right in the square. I’m sure it’s gorgeous at other times of year but we loved seeing it during Christmas. Straight out of a movie!!
