Staff were nice, bar was fun. The night took a sharp downturn on the way out, as another patron was very hostile and snobby towards me and my partner just for speaking in English while seeking directions to get home safely (unfortunately neither of us speaks Portuguese). No one likes to feel unwelcome - especially in a neighborhood that is unsafe at 3am. I’m certainly not blaming the bar staff (nor Brazil) for this experience I could also have back home - but it did sour the night for us.
