Charlie’s Queer Books

A true oasis, I stumbled in here one day and just fell in love. Beautiful space, friendly staff, clean and accessible bathroom, and shelves full of both classic queer reading and brand new authors alike. Can't wait to stop in again!

One of my favorite bookshops ever! They stock a small but very well curated collection of queer books and have space upstairs for reading and book clubs! I come here at least every month for a book club and I always love it. Also Charlie’s has the most gorgeous bathroom ever

This is such a warm and inviting place! Books are well organized, and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Staff are friendly and the book selection is AMAZING! You have got to check this out!

Super cute independent queer literature bookstore. They have merch, stickers, kid's section, a reading room and gifts. They also have community events. The bathroom alone deserves a separate review; it is just soo georgeous. The website is cool too.

This place is a GEM! The books are carefully curated and wonderfully chosen. Charlie and Madeline are so incredibly sweet. This is one of the few places in Seattle I don’t feel rushed out of and truly feel like I can take my time and enjoy being there. This place is so incredibly welcoming, beautiful, and I can’t say enough positive things about it. The sitting room upstairs was so wonderful and cozy during a rainy day. I can tell Charlie picks out the books so thoughtfully and with so much care. You’re sure to find some great finds, both the classics and something new! I can’t recommend Charlie’s enough!
