From the laid-back vibes at Café Papeneiland to the high-energy beats at Club NYX, there's something for every taste and style in this neighborhood. And with its rainbow-colored streetlights and pride-themed decorations, De Pijp is the perfect place to get your LGBTQ+ fix! But Amsterdam's LGBTQ+ community isn't just about partying – it's also about supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs who are making a difference in our community. One of my favorite discoveries was the Queer Store, a queer-owned boutique that offers everything from rainbow-colored accessories to LGBTQ+-themed gifts and goodies. Of course, no trip to Amsterdam would be complete without a visit to the city's world-famous Pride celebrations! As one of the largest and most iconic Pride events in Europe, Amsterdam's festivities are not to be missed. With its colorful parade, lively street parties, and star-studded performances, Pride in Amsterdam is an experience that will leave you feeling proud and empowered! As I looked out over the city's stunning skyline, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this incredible community that has welcomed me with open arms.
