One of my highlights was discovering the city's thriving cafe culture. Brisbane's inner-city suburbs are home to some of the best coffee in the country, with each cup filled with love and care. I stumbled upon gems like The Cake Tin, which serves up mouthwatering treats and expertly brewed coffee, and The Daily Grind, a popular spot for a quick caffeine fix. Of course, no trip to Brisbane would be complete without experiencing the city's legendary nightlife. From rooftop bars overlooking the city skyline to dance clubs that pulse with electronic beats, there's something for every style of reveler. I had an absolute blast at the iconic The End, which hosts some of the best live music and drag shows in town. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I was heartened by Brisbane's welcoming atmosphere and visible queer presence throughout the city.
