I've found myself drawn to the neon-lit streets of Las Vegas again and again. This city's energy is infectious – it's a place where you can be whoever you want to be, without apology. As an LGBTQ+ advocate, I'm thrilled to share with The Pink Pulse what makes Sin City such a haven for our community. **Pride and Joy** Last year's Las Vegas Pride parade was a resounding success, attracting over 30,000 attendees. This year, the organizers are promising an even bigger and better celebration, with more performers, vendors, and activities than ever before! The parade route will take us through the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, featuring live music, drag shows, and community booths. Mark your calendars for June 12th – we'll be there, proudly waving our flags and showing off our best Pride attire! **Nightlife Nirvana** Las Vegas is renowned for its incredible nightlife scene, and LGBTQ+ venues are no exception. One of my personal favorites is Piranha Killer Pub, a queer-friendly bar that hosts karaoke nights, trivia games, and themed parties. Another hotspot is The Center, a community hub offering drag shows, comedy nights, and social events. And let's not forget the iconic Jewel Box Lounge, where you can dance the night away to some of the best DJs in the business! **Local Love** Las Vegas has an incredible selection of LGBTQ+-owned businesses, each with its own unique charm. For delicious eats, head to Vesta Coffee Roasters, a queer-owned coffee shop serving up expertly brewed cups and mouthwatering pastries. If you're in the mood for something sweet, visit Sweet Freedom Bakery, where you can indulge in scrumptious treats made by our very own community members! **Community Champions** Las Vegas has no shortage of passionate advocates working tirelessly to support our LGBTQ+ community. Organizations like The Trevor Project and PFLAG Nevada offer essential resources, support groups, and advocacy services for those in need. These incredible individuals are the backbone of our community, and we're honored to spotlight their work here at The Pink Pulse. **A City of Wonder** Las Vegas is more than just a city – it's an experience.
