From its iconic landmarks to its thriving queer scene, London is a treasure trove waiting to be discovered! We popped into the infamous Old Compton Street, home to the famous Pink Therapy shop, which has been serving the community since 1997. This iconic spot is a must-visit for any queer traveler looking to connect with local culture. Next, we strolled through Covent Garden, where the sounds of live music and laughter fill the air. Of course, no trip to London would be complete without a visit to Buckingham Palace! As we watched the Changing of the Guard ceremony, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that this iconic landmark has hosted numerous LGBTQ+ events and celebrations over the years. It's a symbol of British tradition and inclusivity. Afterward, we headed to Camden Market, where the city's eclectic vibe really shines. With its colorful stalls, live music, and endless options for food and drink, Camden is a haven for anyone looking to experience the city's alternative culture. Be sure to check out the infamous Camden Lock Bridge, which has been a hub for queer activity since the 1980s. London's nightlife scene is nothing short of legendary! We spent an unforgettable evening at the iconic Heaven nightclub, which has been a staple of London's LGBTQ+ community since the 1970s. Last but certainly not least, we visited the remarkable Pride in London parade, where hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life gathered to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and love.
