It's no wonder that, in 2020, Madrid was ranked as one of the top cities for LGBTQ+ travel in Lonely Planet's "Best Cities for LGBTQ Travel" guide! Of course, no community is perfect – there are still challenges to be addressed, like discrimination and violence against queer people. But in Madrid, I've seen firsthand how resilience, solidarity, and a commitment to creating a more just society can make all the difference.
