And let's not forget about the legendary Toucan's Tiki Lounge – this iconic spot has been serving up tropical vibes and tasty cocktails for over 20 years! But it's not all about the nightlife, folks! Palm Springs is also a haven for foodies, with an incredible array of restaurants and cafes that cater to our community. From vegan eats at Fresh Agave to mouth-watering breakfast spots like Norma's (where you can indulge in decadent waffles and mimosas), there's something for every taste bud. And then, of course, there are the events! Palm Springs Pride is one of the most iconic and beloved celebrations in our community. With a week-long series of parties, parades, and festivities, it's the perfect way to kick off your summer with a bang (or should I say, with a glitter bomb?). Don't miss the stunning parade, featuring floats, performances, and, yes, plenty of drag queens! But Palm Springs Pride is just the tip of the iceberg. Throughout the year, you'll find an array of queer-friendly events, from comedy nights at the Palm Springs Comedy Club to art exhibitions at the Palm Springs Art Museum (which has a dedicated LGBTQ+ programming arm, by the way!). And let's not forget about the numerous charity fundraisers and awareness campaigns that pop up throughout the year – it's clear that our community is committed to making a difference in this vibrant city.
