Backstage Hotel

A really fun place and well priced. If you're a musician this is the place to be. From several guitars and bass guitars that you can play in the bar area to the music inspired decor in the rooms, the vibe is great and the staff are super friendly. It's about 2 minutes walk from a couple coffeeshops, the town centre and a supermarket and is basically in the heart of the fun part of Amsterdam. Nice breakfast setup too Word of caution - it's in the heart of Amsterdam and so through no fault of the hotel it can be very loud at night. They do provide little squidgy earplugs for guests so we managed to sleep just fine. I can't say I loved the bed or the shared bathroom but we knew about the latter in advance and it's what you can expect for a cheaper room. Overall we loved it.

A fun theme hotel to stay in! Reception was friendly, especially when I ran into a problem with booking on the webpage. Complimentary drink at the bar for the first night were a nice touch.🍸 Location is supreme. Lots of places to eat and shop within walking distance. Would come again!

Great hotel. Cool decor and the staff are terrific and very helpful, friendly. The hotel is 15min walk to Central Station and 5min walk to the museums. There are many coffeeshops around the hotel with one just round the corner. Cross over the bridge and there are many restaurants and bars with about five good coffeeshops. Excellent stay. 5 stars.

Perfect place to stay in Amsterdam. directly in city centre but not in the middle of the crowded places. everything worth seeing in walking distance. nice room, friendly crew and good breakfast. the music theme is everywhere and gives the place it's individual touch. thank you!
