★★★★★Great stay at Anco! Walking distance from everything in the red light distance and other beautiful neighborhoods, clean and quiet accommodations, the breakfast was good and above all the manager was kind and hospitable (made me 3 cups of mint tea every morning). Thanks for a lovely stay!

★★★★★It was a gamble but a well payed off.
Cons:
- bathroom outside the room
- walls are paper thin
Pros:
- center location
- price / quality ratio
- the guys that
work there that remind me of my dad hanging out and having a great time (while giving excellent service)
Overall it’s a great value for money, time and experience 😊❤️

★★★★★My stay at Hotel Anco in Amsterdam was simply wonderful. From the very beginning, the staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.
The place has a special charm, very cozy and perfectly located, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless and well taken care of.
The breakfast was another highlight: delicious, varied, and perfect to start the day.
Overall, everything was excellent—the people, the atmosphere, the service… absolutely everything. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.
Gracias, Don. Carlos, Don Jhosep, Marcos y sisi. Son lo maximo.
I loved the stay at Anco! The staff was friendly, making me feel at home. Nothing beats waking up with a fresh cappuccino or latte and not having to leave the hotel to get it! The rooms were nice. It's a bit tricky getting all our luggage up the stairs but luckily they were there to help. The location was perfect for our travel plans. Across the street was a beautiful old church.

★★★★★I’ve been to some really nice places in Amsterdam and I have to say out of all of them, I had the best experience at this hotel.
Location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and you can walk to most places! And lovely to sit outside in the morning and watch the canals and streets come to life!
Check in was quick and easy, nice decor in the reception area
After hiking the dreaded Amsterdam stairs, our room was on the third floor so was actually very quiet at night, the room itself had a small tv, table and chairs near the big windows, sink with vanity mirror and plug on the wall, small wardrobe, couple of drawers, and bedside tables next to the bed all of which were very clean! The toilet and shower is shared but you are given a pair of slippers on arrival to use between rooms and they were kept very clean the whole time.
Breakfast was basic but decent, options for cereal, toast (with different jams, butter, choc spread) cuts of meats, yogurt, fruit, and the option of a vegan cheese and ham toastie made to order and tea/coffee included
The staff were the absolute highlight of this place, above all else the service was incredible, the staff really look after their guests and try their best to help you enjoy your stay, I cannot praise them enough
TLDR:
Basic but decent breakfast
Rooms decent and very clean
Shared bathroom but again, very clean throughout your stay
Staff service - amazing, so friendly and welcoming
Overall if you’re looking for somewhere in the heart of Amsterdam, on a budget, with great service and breakfast included then this is the place for it!
