St Christopher's Inn Amsterdam - The Winston

The staff here made a series of mistakes, which really annoyed me and cost me precious time in my planned schedule. However, they went above and beyond to put things right, they saw their mistake, apologised for it, and ultimately after 2 mistakes they just refunded me and were extremely apologetic. This level of service cannot be faulted, they genuinely are trying to make all stays superb, which is why they care so much if they make a mistake, the reason for the mistakes was probably due to how incredibly busy it was on this particular occasion. I would probably try them again during a quieter season, as the rooms, and staff, location were all amazing. So it's a good review from me. Thanks so much for making it right guys 🙏❤️

this hostel is my first choice when I spend the night in Amsterdam. mostly because it's low cost, central location, and privacy curtains on the beds (not in every room, you have to make sure you book a room with them). the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. they also have an outdoor area for smoking, although it does close at 11 pm. the only downside is that there isn't a kitchen or any place to store food. there is a bar downstairs, Belushi's, that you can buy food from, but it isn't that cheap. however, you do get 25% off of food and drinks if you are a guest.

I know it's a bit later than intended but, I can't pass this opportunity to leave a well deserved review! I had such a lovely experience at St Christopher’s Inn - The Winston / Belushi's and I really wanted to take a moment to thank Hugo and all the amazing staff for the incredible level of customer service. From the beginning, everyone was so attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful — not only with recommendations, but with the overall hospitality and atmosphere. They made me feel safe, welcome, looked after, and honestly like I was part of a little group of friends rather than just a guest passing through. The location is amazing, the place is very sociable, and it is the kind of place where you can easily meet people and make friends. The staff really do make a difference, and their warmth and care made my stay so much better. I would very much recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, social, welcoming place with great people behind it. Thank you again to Hugo and the whole team — being looked after with that much kindness really does go a long way.

I had a wonderful stay at St Christopher’s Inn Winston! The hostel has an amazing atmosphere, with a cool vibe, a fantastic bar, and a beautiful garden area that makes it easy to relax and meet people. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had really interesting decorations and design that gave the place a unique character. A special shoutout to the manager, Alex, for the amazing work and hospitality. Also, big thanks to David and Hugo at the reception, Monika at the bar, and the gentleman from the Czech Republic working at the bar ,unfortunately I forgot his name, but he was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend both the hostel and the bar to anyone visiting. I would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved my experience staying at this hostel! The bar and nightlife were amazing and made the whole stay even more fun. Bruna took care of us during our time there and she was incredibly kind and helpful. My friends and I are very satisfied and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
