Love coming here when we are in town to get anime merchandise. Official items which makes them a bit pricey but we still buy. There isn't one where I live so I take advantage when I'm in town and buy what I can.

This place is pretty great. They have so many things to satisfy your Japanese curiosity. ✅Stationary ✅Cooking Books ✅Language Learning Books ✅Manga ✅Gunpla ✅Stickers and so much more! Worth taking a look even just to browse… you may discover a treasure you didn’t even know you wanted.
Cute book and anime gift shop with lots to browse for everyone. Would recommend for a Japanese lover and a unique stop. I looked at some unique books and there were some nice-smelling incense too. There are other stores along that plaza like Daiso that would be nice to see and stop by although we didn’t this time. My daughter enjoyed seeing Pusheen cats, and my son enjoyed looking at the posable action figures. He said “it has some really cool Studio Ghibli stuff.”
A Sanctuary for Stationery Lovers and Origami Enthusiasts! I visit Kinokuniya almost every week; it is truly one of my favorite spots to browse and find unique items. My main goal today was to pick up some origami books and high-quality paper. If you are an origami hobbyist, you simply cannot miss this place—the variety of patterns and textures, including many authentic papers imported directly from Japan, is unmatched. Beyond the crafts, I always spend time exploring their incredible collection of Studio Ghibli merchandise. Whether you are looking for Japanese books, the latest manga, or beautiful stationery and small lifestyle gifts, this bookstore has it all. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it’s a great place to discover something special. I love supporting this shop and highly recommend everyone to stop by and show some love to this Japanese gem. It’s a must-visit in Austin!
Came here multiple times but on this day…finally making it legit that this place is a great place to find authentic anime, Sanrio, art high grade pens, authentic novelties, rare collectibles. My son needed supplies for his architecture school and we find what he needed here for a great price! The staff are always helpful and friendly and upbeat!
