The literature is fanominal, makes you really think. What is freedom, & am I living in it to its fullest. Books zine's,pins,stickers,Chill vibes gud pplz,cat, snacks cold drinks,and a free section of things ppl may need, that you can take. Like masks or condoms, food or clothes/shoes.

This bookstore caters to a very specific knowledge need: general activism and community outreach. If you’re looking for resources this is the place. They also have free resources like sanitary items and narcan. Make sure to say hi to the shop cat!

I've met wonderful people here, and am proud to say this place has been standing strong since 2002. I love supporting community and tangible media. Theyre there with open arms, supporting freedom of expression and art. What more could one ask for? I also love that they're going to be starting a writing workshop open to anyone who needs community in the creative process outside of making zines, but... Make zines! And buttons! And games!! They also have a great, niche selection of literature to purchase on the shelves in the back. Honorable mention, the Princess Sweet Pea that is Emma took a shine to my children and myself, so that's another reason for us to visit regularly. It's a little sanctuary, an oasis, an ATX fixture. PS Molly is a SAINT.

This place is a cozy, little spot for community and getting to know those in Austin! Lots of information and zines are available along with spaces to sit down and hangout. Definitely a third space worth checking out. There's even board games you can play with friends, books, and a cat!

My friend and I were visiting from out of town, and we stumbled upon this little spot complete with a bodega cat. They have a huge collection of zines (all donation based) and some books. I liked the charm of this bookstore - it feels like "old" Austin. I'll definitely be back.
