Garner Hotel Berlin - Schöneberg

The worst hg hotel i have ever seen, the room gave to me was uncleaned and front desk show in very rude attitude: He gives me a single bedroom with smallest size, but i booked the largest room with three beds without apology. And then he yelling at me, what do you want me to do?I already look the complaint to the hg group, and i strongly do not recommend you choose this hotel. The used and unused glass messed up in same area and this hotel manager should really be fired imnediately.

3 nights, we were satisfied with everything. price performance is great! It's rigged across ubahn and you have bus stops. Very convenient.

The only redeeming aspects of this hotel are the breakfast and the convenient access to the U2 line. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell far below expectations. The reception staff appeared poorly trained. Upon arrival, they were initially unable to locate our booking in the system and claimed that we had only reserved three rooms instead of the four we had actually booked. After some time, we were finally assigned rooms, only to discover that two of them were already occupied, which caused additional delays and unnecessary confusion. Despite the inconvenience, no form of compensation or even a small gesture of apology—such as offering water while we waited—was provided. The lobby area also felt neglected and poorly maintained. The so-called “refreshment station” rarely had clean glasses available, which further contributed to the impression that basic standards of upkeep were lacking. Additionally, the location did not feel particularly pleasant, as there seemed to be a frequent police presence in the street and surrounding area. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

AMAZING! We booked for 4 people family room and it was perfect. I don't know about other rooms but if you planning to take room with 2 double beds and 1 single - book it. Room clean and spacious. Beds comfy. The only thing I find difficult was shower because it was high but that wasn't a problem. When you close the curtains it is pitch black. We also used the parking and we left car for next day because we had a late flight. We did not have a breakfast. I wish I stayed here last time, but definitely we will stay here when we come back again. (Near best kebab - Ruÿam)

Wow, where to begin. We arrived late at night and our room was double booked. We were offered to move to a partner hotel, something we weren’t comfortable doing with all of the luggage at that time of night. Instead, we agreed to stay in a different room for the night, on the 6th floor- something we were told we would be compensated for. We weren’t, to this day I have sent emails to the hotel, and have received no response. The hotel has a (very slow) elevator, but only to the fifth floor- so we had to walk up several flights of stairs, through two corridors, and sleep in the same bed- although we booked a room with two beds. The key cards malfunction at least twice a day, causing us to need to go all the way down each time to get them restamped, a process that took around 7-10 minutes each time. Very frustrating. The breakfast was mediocre, definitely not worth the cost. I strongly recommend against this hotel.
