Absolutely brilliant hotel and the reception staff were amazing and very helpful! We stayed for a concert at the Metropol very close to it

Nice hotel for the price, in a quiet area with good access to transport and food. Soundproofing isn't great, you can often hear people through the walls especially if they are loud or taking the stairs instead of elevator. I arrived 1.5 hours early and was kindly given a room without needing to wait. Some staff are nicer than others, I will say.

While the rooms are correct and clean, albeit dared, I cannot give more than 1 star given how I was treated by the night staff when trying to come back to sleep at the wee time of the morning. Some even refused to let me inside and forced me to negociate (???), which is humiliating and infuriating when you pay that price per night. The solution is pretty simple, they just have to fix the card scanner outside. The sound insulation is non-existent and I was woken multiples times by guests simply existing, for example steps from the guest in the room above or talking in the corridor. Obviously I will not come back, as this leads to a very mediocre experience for the price of a luxury one.

Great value for the location near Nollendorf station. Spacious and charming. Nice courtyard to take your coffee to and read. Would definitely stay again.

Easy to get to public transportation. Room was excellent. Bathroom was great - beautiful tub/shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. Jahn was the perfect host. He helped us figure out which way to travel on our daily excursions!
