Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte

Hidden fees on check-in that I never had to pay in any other hotel. 1/3 elevators working so good luck getting down in peak time from the 7th floor or above. Shower goes fluctuating warm cold warm on it's own I would definitely say this is not a 4 star hotel and definitely not worth the money

The hotel's location is commendable, situated in a quiet and safe area that offers convenient access to the train station and various tourist attractions. The location of this hotel is slap bang in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Berlin - right on the river with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. You also have the train station, tram stop, subway, bus stop and water taxis all within a minute's walk. If you are happy to walk, you have access to all of Berlin's attractions within a 30 minute walk along the side of the river or down one of the main roads that are lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. We flew into Berlin Brandenburg airport and the public transport was easy to navigate to the hotel. We bought a Berlin Welcome Card (zone ABC) which covered the use of public transport for the length of our stay, plus some attractions offer discounts with this. The hotel is modern with an easy check in and check out process. Our flight home was 10pm and the hotel were happy to look after our bags after check out at 12pm. The only issue we had with the hotel is the lifts - there was always one out of order and there was a lengthy wait every time we used them. We couldn't find the stairs to use as an alternative. We were asked before arrival if we wanted to bid for a room upgrade - we bid €6 per night and won this bid so we were upgraded on arrival. I will recommend for anyone visiting Berlin to stay at this hotel. We have absolutely loved Berlin and our stay at the Leonardo Hotel.

Had a 2 night break in Berlin and stayed here. Not the best value for money. The room was basic and small, I had threadbare towels which were well used! The lifts had a mind of their own, stayed on the 5th floor, waited 10 mins fornthe lift, used the stairs in the end. The bar was nice and the bar staff were definitely the highlight, very attentive. Breakfast was ok, although no amenity for toasted bread. Average stay but fairly pricey.

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and spotless-the cleanliness was truly on an impressive level. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a great variety and excellent quality of food every morning. The reception staff was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. A special thank you to the lovely Macedonian lady at the reception for her warmth and kindness that made us feel even more comfortable during our stay. Everyone in the hotel was friendly and helpful at all times. We also rented bikes directly from the hotel, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect-convenient, beautiful, and well connected to everything. Highly recommended, and we would gladly come back again!! 10+
