Michelberger Hotel

Fantastic hotel with a beautiful Mexican-style room and a huge bathroom. The welcome was warm, and the service was excellent. A special thanks to Elias from Greece for his kindness and support during my stay. If you ever read this, Elias: everything worked out two days later- we got back together! Greetings from Eva from the Netherlands. The only area for improvement would be the sandwiches. They could be larger and a bit more creative, or alternatively be priced more competitively.

Pleasant stay at Michelberger. The “Cozy” room was perfect for one person, though it might feel a bit tight for two. The hotel has strong Soho House vibes, with a lively café, plenty of lounge space, and people working and meeting throughout the day. My room overlooked a city recycling station, which was surprisingly relaxing—somehow it just fits Berlin. The bed was very comfortable and I slept exceptionally well. The location is great, especially if you're planning a Berghain weekend: it's only a 15-minute walk away. The hotel doesn't rent bikes, but there's a hostel right next door that offers rentals for €18 per 24 hours. The breakfast buffet is good, although at €28 you'd expect an espresso to be included. Bar prices are on the high side too (€9 for a house wine), but the excellent staff make up for it.

Such a special place to stay. The atmosphere is warm, creative and really feels like a community rather than just a hotel. The space has so much character and everything is thoughtfully put together. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout my stay, which made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed, it genuinely felt like home. Would definitely come back!

Been staying here every time I am in Berlin for work since 2021. This place is so dear to me, I talk about it like it’s a person I adore and I talk about the Michelberger to my friends way too much:) The people who work there are so kind and so good at what they do. Their rooms are smartly designed with natural building materials, and very comfortable and beautiful. Food and drinks are excellent, and sustainably sourced, they make their own liquours and they have a regenerative farm out in the countryside that supplies a lot of the produce. I dream of returning every time I leave. I just love it so so much.

A new (for me) discovered gem! 🇩🇪✨ What a lovely stay I had at Michelberger Hotel. It felt more like I was staying in a fully serviced apartment than a hotel. I was solo travelling and I felt so safe and welcome. The breakfast, OMG 😍. It is hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The vibe in hotel overall was so welcoming, relaxing and just generally nice. The room felt chic, cosy, comfy be, and was most of all clean. The heating was very powerful, which was good as it was cold in Berlin at the time of my trip. I can see how it would maybe be a little bit too warm in summer months, so maybe adding air corn for that season would be helpful. The usage of sauna for no additional charge was lovelyyy. Even though I had booked the smallest room. I didn’t feel that I was being treated less than compared to someone else who had booked a larger room. The service was top tier across the board. Special shout out to Connor 😊 who went above and beyond with recommendations with how to get around in local area. But honestly the whole team was amazing! ❤️ Only suggestion, it would be great if the rooms could have safes put in. But beyond that. Everything was great and will definitely be staying again.
