This historic watering hole has been a beacon for LGBTQ+ folks since 1969 and remains a must-visit spot for any Pride enthusiast. I've lost count of how many nights I've spent sipping on a fruity cocktail, surrounded by friends old and new, as we dance the night away to the beat of pulsating music. Of course, no trip to Miami Beach would be complete without a visit to the iconic South Pointe Pier! As the sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean, I find myself swept up in the romance and magic of this picturesque spot. But Miami Beach isn't just about aesthetics; its history and culture are equally as rich and vibrant! As Pride season approaches, I'm reminded of the incredible events and festivals that take place throughout the year. From the colorful spectacle of the Pride Parade to the electric energy of parties like the annual Pride Gala, there's no shortage of ways to express yourself and connect with others who share your values. And let's not forget about the food! Miami Beach is a culinary haven, offering everything from fresh seafood to Cuban cuisine, and (of course) plenty of delicious brunch spots for those post-party morning-after meals. My personal favorite? Joe's Stone Crab – where I indulge in the iconic "Mustard" sauce-drenched claws!
