As someone who's had the privilege of experiencing this vibrant metropolis firsthand, I can attest to the electric energy that pulses through its streets during Pride season. As we made our way through the crowded streets of the historic center, the sounds of drums and music filled the air, beckoning us to join in on the festivities. We were surrounded by a sea of rainbow-colored flags, banners, and signs – a visual representation of the city's unwavering support for its LGBTQ+ community. One of the highlights of our trip was attending the iconic Pride parade, which takes place along the famous Paseo de la Reforma. One of the most moving experiences we had was visiting the iconic Frida Kahlo Museum, dedicated to the life and work of this legendary artist. As we wrapped up our trip and said goodbye to Mexico City, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the incredible experience we had.
