We stopped by the San Diego Pride booth to grab our commemorative merchandise and get a sneak peek at the weekend's schedule. One of my favorite events was the Opening Ceremony on Friday evening, where we celebrated with an incredible display of lights, music, and performances. The crowd went wild as the iconic drag queens, including San Diego's own Miss Coco Peru, brought the house down with their sickening talent! On Saturday, we kicked off the day with a lively brunch at The Blind Burro in Little Italy. Over plates piled high with mouthwatering Mexican dishes, we chatted with locals and tourists alike about what Pride means to them. As the sun began to set, we made our way to Balboa Park, where the festival transformed into an epic party! Of course, no Pride celebration would be complete without some amazing food and drink options. We indulged in everything from gourmet grilled cheese to artisanal ice cream, all while sipping on refreshing cocktails.
