Black and Blue

We had a really great experience here. The steak was absolutely delicious, and the burger and salad were also perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and sweet! The overall vibe of the restaurant was also very cool and cozy. Highly recommended!

The rump steak was truly exceptional, though the service left something to be desired. It appeared there were only four waiters for approximately 100 seats, and they seemed to struggle with remembering and delivering drinks promptly. Despite that, the food was genuinely delightful, and the oysters were particularly excellent. I would certainly recommend this establishment for a work dinner or for a couple. However, I believe it would be more beneficial to make a reservation in advance rather than simply walking in.

It was a special occassion for us so we booked online to secure a table. We booked Black & Blue after reading online reviews and based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the food lovely. We ordered too much food as we thought the starters would be a smaller portion! The steak salad was absolutely yummy. If you in the area, ( central location, easy to find) highly recommend a visit here!

Had a fantastic dinner at Black and Blue in Amsterdam! I ordered the 8oz steak and it was truly done to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and exactly as requested. The fries on the side were equally delicious, crispy and well-seasoned. Great food complemented by good staff who made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving a well-cooked steak in a nice setting .

The service was great, the waitress very friendly and patient. The salad with beef was great, the meat so tender and tasty. The cheese platter was also great, especially the cheese with fig - it was the first time I tried and it tasted exquisite. The cocktail was perfectly balanced - a classic well presented. I tried the colleagues desserts and the soufflé (or lava cake) was great. The pineapple was again something new to me and looked special - the taste was not spectacular.
