Already a beautiful place from the outside, that's why we decided to stop by for some drinks, but stepping through the door is a completely whole experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, while the stained glass windows give the space an almost monumental, even ecclesiastical feeling. The interior is well design and feels meticulously considered. Leather finishes wrap around the bar? Top!.... a detail that feels increasingly rare. At the centre of the room, an impressive paper lamp anchors the place, like an art deco masterpiece. With only a handful of tables, it feels intimate without feeling crowded. The terrace is another reason to stay longer than planned. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor and despite being right in the city center, there is a very nice sunset there. A great review for a great place, because there really isn't enough places in Amsterdam that have all those qualities and aren't prohibitively expensive. Thank you!
