The Georgian Terrace Hotel

This should not be a four star hotel. First of all, the elevators take an eternity to get anywhere, and the stairs and absolutely disgusting. We had a 3 bed/2 bath suite, which was spacious but sparse. The laminate flooring in our room is in deplorable condition. The bathrooms are vquite nice, apart from needing some a fresh paint job (see attached). The breakfast is quite shameful, with scrambled eggs the first day and hard boiled eggs sitting in water. The coffee is also pretty bad. The staff are nice enough.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to restaurants, attractions, and everything the city has to offer. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and creates a great first impression from the moment you walk in. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

1st time staying at the hotel. The Staff were fabulous..front desk, restaurant and Pub. The room was nice and clean - odorless. Bed was comfortable. Art work throughout hotel was beautiful. The restaurant breakfast was very delicious. A few minor notes: the kitchen appliances are very dated. No ice machine worked, room door lock was unsafe. Permanent stain in rug. Water from shower flooded bathroom due to no proper drain / run off. No counter space in bathroom to place items on or hooks for clothes, etc. 1 set of bath towels. No blanket. The hotel should staff more than 1 bartender when hotel is at 70% full; he was great handling the huge wedding crowd but geezer.

Always wanted to stay at the Georgian Terrace Hotel.. Seems like such a special place. Booked a 1 bedroom apt for our Honeymoon weekend. Everything was beautiful. Jeremy at the front desk was especially kind, helpful and wonderful. Things started to fall apart when we noticed Our 1 bedroom apt. didn’t have cookware nor did it have a complete set of dishes or utensils. That was a first time experience. Any room ever booked with a full kitchen has come equipped with all cookware , utensils and dishes needed to prepare a homecooked meal. Secondly after the $150 security deposit was paid at check in, 3 erroneous charges hit our account $286.00, $175.00 and $25.00. There was no explanation of why; only it would be returned. We’ve stayed at our fair share of hotels and have never had such an experience. We will never book another room at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. 😒

We had a lovely stay at The Georgian Terrace and overall really enjoyed our time there. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, which was incredibly spacious. One of the highlights was the dressing room. The director’s chair, wall of mirrors, and full-length trifold mirror gave it a classic, glamorous feel. That said, the hotel is clearly in need of a refresh. Several light fixtures in our room had burned-out bulbs, and the dressing room in particular was quite dim since only a couple of bulbs in the mirror worked and the overhead light was out entirely. Even the light by the entry didn’t function. The bathroom also felt dated, with older tile, fixtures, and sink, and the carpet in the living room was visibly fraying. Overall, there’s a sense of wear that’s hard to ignore. We also dined at Livingston. The service was attentive and the food was genuinely very good, but the restaurant itself mirrors the hotel’s condition—it could benefit from updated tables, chairs, placemats, and glassware. The location is a major highlight—directly across from the Fox Theatre and right in the heart of everything, which makes it incredibly convenient, especially for events. We booked through our travel advisor, who secured a preferred partner rate that included additional amenities, which made the stay an excellent overall value. In summary, we truly had a wonderful stay and would return—especially with plans to come back when Wicked is playing. I would recommend the property, particularly for its location, service, and value, but with the understanding that it’s a charming yet somewhat tired four-star experience that could greatly benefit from some updates
