Santiago Resort - A Gay Men's Resort

My time at Santiago Resort was exceptional. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and well maintained. Guest rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. A real standout is that the staff and management are exceptionally attentive and friendly to guests. A really nice added feature is that both breakfast and lunch are provided by the hotel, which avoided the need to keep leaving to find a restaurant or pick up food which allowed for more time at the pool. The resort is located a short distance from downtown and is in a nice, quiet area. Nice Trek bikes were available to use upon request and a great way to get around or see the sights. The friendly staff, pool area, hot tub, and fire pit all facilitated interaction between guests. I highly recommend the resort.

Just finished a stay at The Santiago in Palm Springs and already can’t wait to come back. The property strikes such a perfect balance between relaxed, stylish, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere is peaceful and intimate, with beautiful grounds, a great pool scene, and an overall vibe that makes it incredibly easy to unwind. What really stood out was the staff and hospitality. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made the experience feel personal without ever being overbearing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being welcomed into a thoughtfully curated escape. The location was also ideal — close enough to downtown Palm Springs to explore restaurants, nightlife, and shops, while still feeling quiet and secluded when you wanted to relax. If you’re looking for a boutique stay with a laid-back, upscale atmosphere and a strong sense of comfort and community, I’d absolutely recommend The Santiago.

We just got back from our first trip to The Santiago and we loved it. The property is beautifully landscaped and the rooms were equally impressive. The lush landscaping keeps the property private and cool. The pool is the centerpiece of the property and is gorgeous. At night the jacuzzi and the fire pit were the center of activity for all the guests. We met some really nice people! The huge outdoor shower was a fun option with plenty of hot water and wonderful body wash and shampoo. Our room was huge with a comfortable king bed and the bathroom was small but modern and they walk in shower was roomy enough for two! The staff was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable but never imposing. They made our visit even better. The guests were a nice mix of couples and singles from all over. About half the guests opted to go clothing optional and nobody was ever pressed to participate if they felt more comfortable clothed. We loved this place so much we have booked two more trips to the property!!

The whole operation just runs like a well-oiled machine. Check-in is smooth, the grounds are immaculate, and there's a level of intentionality here that you don't find at most resorts. Someone clearly cares deeply about the details — and guests notice. We had an excellent week long stay at the Santiago. The staff was friendly, helpful, and two steps ahead of what needed to be done. The property was gorgeous and well maintained. Overall the resort promoted a vibe that was perfect for relaxing, meeting new friends, along with body positivity which I found in all exceptional. It will be tough to go back to a normal hotel after this.
