Vista Grande Resort - A Gay Men's Resort

Just an excellent resort. The breakfast and lunch is a nice treat. The rooms and resort are clean, well-maintained, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

While there are many reasons to visit Vista Grande, I keep coming back for a relaxing week in paradise. Gardens and pools. Hummingbirds and doves. Excellent service and breakfast made to order—every single day. I’ve been vacationing at least once a year for the past 20 in Palm Springs, and I’ve stayed at many of the resorts. Once I discovered it, my favorite has become Vista Grande.

Such a great little resort. Stayed here in Feb/Mar after canceling our PV trip last minute(we were lucky to get a room!) We stayed across the street at the annex in a 2BR APT which was very clean and quiet. The main grounds are beautiful and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Some extra nice touches: Delicious, made to order breakfast is included (!), the pools are heated to 92* and the hot tub is HOT. Tom the manager was super cool and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

My partner and I had an excellent time at the resort. The staff/team are extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious every morning and we had choices. Lunch was delicious on Saturday (cookout) and especially the banana pudding! The grounds are well-kept and they were always tidying up throughout the day. The main pool was excellent and heated during our stay (there was a cold snap last week). We were thankful for the many umbrellas and even one at the pool. We will gladly stay here again.

Standing like an old deck of cards in the middle of a desert-chic neighborhood reminding you of an era long time gone that never caught up with today’s modernization. The interior looks like an old movie set of The Munsters tv series built with paper thin walls where you are given no choice but to join the conversation. The two decayed and stained pools built with old school plaster makes you wonder if there is any trace of asbestos potentially exposing each of their guest to significant health risks. Lastly, their Four Seasons Hotel nightly rate leaves you paused as you proceed deeper into what was once called a resort.
