Claris Hotel & Spa, SLH Hotel

The location is hard to beat, just steps from Passeig de Gràcia, with Casa Batlló and La Pedrera only a short walk away. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. Every staff is genuine hospitality, made all the difference and turned a great hotel stay into a memorable one.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Claris hotel. Especially the extraordinary kindness of the staff members we will not forget. We even got upgraded to have more space for our baby. The hotel is very clean. The location is excellent. Breakfast is delicous. One thing we would propose is to serve the breakfast on the rooftop terrace.

My husband and I traveled here for a business trip with our 1-year-old Labrador, and we had the most wonderful stay! The staff was impeccable—friendly, kind, accommodating, and joyful. Our dog (who is training to be a companion dog) absolutely adored the staff, who took excellent care of her and gave her plenty of attention. When we arrived, they even had toys, treats, and a bed ready for her in the room, which she loved. :-) Hotel & Room: The hotel itself was beautiful, with a truly unique and interesting décor that made it feel like both a museum and a hotel. The room was a great size, especially for being in the center of the city—I was pleasantly surprised. The amenities were excellent: a gym, sauna (more of a hammam), rooftop pool, and full spa. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try the spa during my stay, so that’s definitely on my list for next time. The location is fantastic- very walkable, with plenty of great restaurants and shopping nearby. Food & Drink: The two restaurants—the bar and the main restaurant—were both delicious. The service was unmatched; this place deserves a Michelin star (see photos!). Overall: I will definitely be staying here again in the future—they truly know how to provide exceptional service!"

My wife and I just returned from a lovely trip to Barcelona. With every turn, we fell in love with Barcelona. The trip was made ever more special by the attentive staff at the Claris Hotel and spa. The hotel is a work of art. Truly luxurious! Eric, Edurne, Ossama, Hamid and Marcio all went out of their way to ensure that our every detail was attended to. They are all very passionate about their city and their hotel and it shows through in the service they provided us. In a world where everything is fast, it is nice to see young people embrace old world service. Thanks guys! We’ll be back to see you next year!

We had a fantastic time at The Claris Hotel. Our room was spectacular. But the highlight was the brilliant friendly staff. Everyone was happy and energised to be helping us. A special shout out to Eric on Guest Services who was so helpful and knowledgeable when sorting out restaurants for us. The whole reception team including the doormen were exceptional. Well done.
