Hotel Soho Barcelona

Staff and location were awesome. Great value hotel. HOWEVER; please be advised that the blinds in your room are encased within the windows and will be fully closed for the entirety of your stay. Fully closed. Zero natural light. The entire time. Every room. Those pictures you see of floor to ceiling windows, with light flowing in? Half true. The windows are there but the blinds will be fully closed with no explanation as to why they cannot/will not be opened. Every room is like a basement room. Otherwise, clean and satisfactory.

Really great stay here - highly recommended. Location was ideal - we walked basically everywhere we wanted to go for the whole trip. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the shower was really nice. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. We only had them refresh our room once in our stay but I was impressed that they got to it even though we only changed our sign from 'Do Not Disturb' in the afternoon, and they did a great job. We didn't use the pool but the rooftop area seemed nice (though the room they upgraded us to also had a private terrace!). We didn't try the food but they do have breakfast available for an additional cost, or you can walk across the street and have excellent pastries at Escriba. The only thing I didn't love was the design with the bathroom - it has transparent walls with shades built in and it wasn't obvious how to use those (there was a switch by the sink but we didn't figure it out until our last day) and even with the shades closed, quite a lot of light escapes if you turn on the bathroom lights in the middle of the night. A nightlight in the toilet room would make this a lot better.

Great value for money, staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble, made us feel very welcome. Rooms as expected, very clean, only issue not enough milk for tea and coffee and kettle has to be plugged in on floor to reach socket. Breakfast selection small but well stocked and no. Issues with food, great service again at breakfast. The staff make this hotel what it is. Location seemed good, Barcelona is huge so always a walk depending where you want to be.

I had a wonderful experience at Soho Hotel. The overall atmosphere, cleanliness, and comfort were excellent, making my stay truly enjoyable. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service. Frederik and his colleague who was there in the morning were both incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always with a smile and a great attitude. Honestly, if every hotel had staff like them, it would easily be the best hotel in the world. They are truly amazing and made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

If I would rate this hotel it would be 9/10. The best part here is the staff and they are amazingly helpful. The location is considered 10/10 as the metro station is just 5 min walk. However this hotel is surrounded by lots of shops, restaurant supermarket. So nothing to worry about. The breakfast is quite decent and covers most of the required. The room is very specious comfy.
