Hotel Cram Barcelona

We stayed in a Superior Room with Balcony for 1 night before flying out of Barcelona. It was nice enough, but not really worth the money you pay, the room was quite small (normal for Barcelona) but also I think the bathroom needs renovating as there was mould and it has a smoked glass door, but it is has a clear strip from top to bottom near the handle which faces directly onto the toilet when the door is shut, so its not very private. The balcony for this room is really narrow, no room for table and chairs. The paid carparking is down the street maybe 40-50m away. The location is OK, I have stayed in better locations in Barcelona and we ended up having to walk a fair way to get to the shops we wanted to visit and places we wanted to see. The rooftop pool/bar is very nice and we enjoyed that for a couple of hours in the afternoon before heading out.

The location of this hotel is absolutely superb -set in a beautiful neighbourhood, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was also fantastic. Coming from Australia, we were waking up at 5am every day, so the breakfast buffet honestly saved us as we quickly realised Spain starts the day much later than we’re used to. We were there right at 7am on the dot every morning. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of many excellent tapas bars and restaurants, which made exploring the local food scene incredibly convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The food was very nice and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The bed was amazing – very comfortable and perfect for a good night’s sleep. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

Funny place. The switches for everything in the room were quite special, later I realized I was in a love hotel. Everything was great with one minor exception of waking up at 6am with my bed shaking due to a “happy moment” in the neighbour room. Idk how they connected beds on the wall but it was an “funny experience”. The other days I heard noises too but it didn’t bother me like the bed shaking.

Just returned from Hotel Cram yesterday. It’s a 4 star but you’d really think it was 5. The hotel decor is spotless, stunning. The room was amazing overlooking the streets of Barcelona. Service and housekeeping spotless also. Breakfast massive selection. I want really bring attention to the amazing barman who was serving us ( the man from Uruguay! So sorry we didn’t get your name) . We can’t wait to revisit.
