Had a great experience at Austin Bath House. The facility was clean, relaxing, and well-maintained, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the experience. A special thank you to Angelina, who was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service made a great experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

What an Oasis in the middle of East Austin! If you’re looking for a beautiful space to have a chill spa day - Bathe is it!! Neako, Mileena and Whitney are the best, they take care of everything when you arrive. They start with a tour, showing you all the accommodations & services Bathe has to offer. My favorite is the medium sauna and the black cold plunge, followed by a cold face towel with essential oils! There’s many other services you add on like massages and classes. The coolest part is they have tons of different drink options in the checkin/boutique area with some other healthy snacks and even a dispensary!

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction regarding a recent experience at your bathe establishment that left me feeling misled and inconvenienced. As a business visitor from Houston, Texas, currently in Austin, I contacted your facility on April 30, 2026, at approximately 1:28 PM, specifically seeking access to showering facilities. During my phone call, I explicitly inquired if complimentary showers were available and if there was any associated charge. I was unequivocally informed by a staff member that showers were indeed free and incurred no cost. This clear assurance was the sole reason I proceeded to drive approximately 30 minutes from my current location to your business. Upon my arrival, I was met with an entirely contradictory explanation. I was informed that access to the showers required an active membership and a separate $25 fee. This stark discrepancy between the information provided over the phone and the reality at the facility is highly disappointing. It represents a significant waste of my valuable time, fuel, and effort, especially given my limited schedule while on a business trip. More importantly, it demonstrates a severe lack of transparency and a failure to uphold the commitments made by your representative. Such misleading communication is not only frustrating but fundamentally undermines customer trust. Based on this deeply unsatisfactory experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend your business to others. I feel it is imperative to highlight this issue to prevent other potential customers from encountering a similar situation where they are given false information and then expected to pay for services previously assured as free.

I’ve been coming to Bathe for almost a year now(!) and have never felt better. It’s my favorite place to unwind solo or with friends (love the guest passes), and I can easily spend a few hours there completely offline. The staff and community are so welcoming, the events range from group meditation to fun Burning Man style rave vibe, and the no phone policy makes it a true little sanctuary. Of all the saunas I’ve tried in Austin, this one has the best atmosphere and sense of community. They offer 2 different temp cold plunges too so contrast therapy is possible for everyone. Cold plunges always seem clean. Just make sure to bring a towel and they have locker rooms to change in.

Bathe is a special place run by amazing people. It’s an oasis of relaxation in east Austin. Love how they have 3 different types of saunas and luxurious looking FjØRD cold plunges. Two of them are pretty cold and they keep one a bit warmer (50°) for folks who prefer a more approachable plunge experience.
